We provide individual therapy for adults in Michigan, both online and in person. Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth sessions across Michigan for clients who prefer the convenience of online therapy. This allows you to receive professional support from home, work, or anywhere in the state.
Do you specialize in certain populations?
Yes. We have specialized experience providing therapy for military personnel, law enforcement officers, first responders, and fellow therapists. We also work with adults navigating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges

Mi Mind Matters is based in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and offers virtual counseling sessions statewide.
What are your hours?
Appointments are flexible and by request, including daytime and evening options.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept most insurances including Aetna, ASR, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, CareSource, Cofinity, HAP, Magellan, McLaren, MESSA, Multiplan, Optum, Priority Health, UMR, United Healthcare, UBH, and others. We also have private-pay therapy options. Please let us know if you have questions about whether or not we accept your insurance. If you are unsure about coverage, we recommend calling your insurance provider to verify your benefits.
How much do therapy sessions cost?
Standard session rates are $150-$200. We also offer sliding scale options for those who qualify.

What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session is a time to share your story, discuss your goals, and get to know each other. Together, you and your therapist will create a personalized plan for your therapy journey.
How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients begin with weekly counseling sessions and later move to biweekly or monthly, depending on needs and progress.
Confidentiality & Safety
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. All therapy sessions are confidential. The only exceptions are rare situations where there is risk of harm to self or others, or if abuse of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult is suspected, as required by law.
